Yes, I feel everyone needs to take a missions trip. It is a tremendous privilege to share the love of God with those in another country. It gives one a new appreciation for (1) the good things of life and (2) the commitment of long-term missionaries. It also helps one make a personal decision about Romans 10:15 - How shall they preach unless they are sent? Each person can more easily discern - will they GO? Or will they SEND? |

I would say yes! As mentioned before a missions trip will change your life forever. For me personally it has opened my eyes up to a world outside of the the boarders of the United States. On a missions trip you see people living in poverty, but most importantly without a hope and a future, and it tugs at your heart to share what you have. |

My hope is that everyone reading this would have at least one opportunity in their lives to be God's representatives on a missions trip. It’s true what they say that it changes your life forever. But whether you are one who goes, or one who sends, my prayer for you is that the Lord would continue to give you a heart for the nations of the world, for it is the world that He loves, and it is for the nations that He sent His Son Jesus in order to redeem all people back to Himself. |
